What is the Client ID?

The Client ID is used by law firms to record billable time. If you do not use a Client ID to record billable time, you can type any character(s) in the Client ID text box. The Client ID is recorded in the Research Trail and in WestClip and KeyCite Alert entries so you may find it useful to enter characters that relate to your research in the Client ID text box. For example, law school students may want to enter a course title.
